FAQs

I’m private pay only, but I can offer superbills for reimbursement if your plan allows for out-of-network providers.
-
My clients are silly, socially extroverted but personally introverted, full of emotion, and can balance seriousness and laughter. They’ve done the work, want to continue doing to work, and feel empowered about where they’re going.

Your privacy matters here. Everything you share in therapy is kept confidential, with a few legally required exceptions, like if there’s risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if I’m mandated to report abuse. I’ll always explain those limits clearly, and you can ask questions at any time.
I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for video sessions, paperwork, and communication. Your information is protected, and I’ll never sell, share, or use your data for anything outside of your care.
If you contact me through this website or by email, please keep in mind that those channels are not always fully secure. For sensitive information, we’ll move to my secure client portal once we’re working together.
If we ever cross paths in real life, I won’t acknowledge you unless you do first. Your privacy comes first, always.

I charge $145 for an individual session and $165 for a couples therapy session. For polyamorous couples, I charge $175 due to the added third person.

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be billed the full session fee. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, this is considered a no-show, though I may still offer a shortened session if you arrive later and you’re still billed in full.

I use Doxy. Once intake paperwork is filled out, I will email you the meeting link.

Right now, I see clients only virtually and in the evenings. This would be great for 20 and 30-somethings that have long hours and need to rewind in the late afternoon.
-
The first session is a mix of getting to know you and helping you get a feel for how I work. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what matters to you, and what you want to feel or understand differently. I’ll ask questions, offer reflections, and invite your honesty about whether it feels like a good fit. You don’t need to have the perfect way to explain how things are, just come as you are.

Not at all. Some clients come in solo to work on relationship patterns, or to explore what they want in a partnership. I also work with individuals in non-traditional relationship structures or who are navigating breakups, betrayal, or relationship uncertainty. You’re welcome here, whether you’re currently partnered or not.
-
Yes. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and sex-positive, and I work with many clients in queer, non-monogamous, or kink-involved relationships. I respect your values, your boundaries, and your right to define what intimacy and identity mean for you. My role isn’t to pathologize, it’s to support your growth, clarity, and connection on your terms.

Yes! If you live in the state of Texas, we are able to meet virtually.

if at any point your needs go beyond what outpatient therapy can provide, such as requiring medical detox, inpatient treatment, or more intensive support for safety concerns, I’ll help you find the right next step. This could mean a referral to a higher level of care like residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP) or an intensive outpatient program (IOP). You’re not alone in that process, and getting more support doesn’t mean you’ve failed! It means you’re paying attention to what you need.
