Religious Trauma Therapy in Texas
For those who left the church, but the church hasn’t left them.
You might be untangling years of fear, shame, shut down from your body, or confusion around what you were taught to believe. Maybe you’ve left your faith, or it’s left you, and you’re trying to make sense of the aftermath: guilt, identity loss, or questioning “Is it okay to want more?”
Religious trauma doesn’t always look dramatic - it can be subtle
-feeling like you’re “too much” or “not enough”
-believing your body or your desires are bad
-feeling disconnected from yourself
-struggling to trust your own thoughts, instincts, or relationships
-feeling like you’ve lost community, identity, or safety
-longing for community
I work with adults across Texas who are healing from high-control religious environments, purity culture, spiritual abuse, identity suppression, and the subtle, lifelong impact of fear-based belief systems.
In our work together, we’ll reclaim your sense of autonomy, connect with your values (not someone else’s), and start to trust yourself again. this is a space for the sacred, the skeptical, and the sincerely confused. No agenda. No pressure. Just space to heal and be heard.
